Feeling Crispy

I received a Snickers Crisper in my #SpiritVoxBox complementary from Influenster to test... let's just say it didn't make it too far after I took it out of the box.

I wanted to hop on over to the blog to tell you how it was, let me tell you a little bit about it.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub Review

I recently reviewed my #CampusVoxBox that I received from Influenster. In it, I received the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. This product was very interesting to me, and so I wanted to share my experience with you! 

The Pros:

• This scrub actually does prevent pimples and also decreases them in size and redness
• It has a nice fruity scent and it left my face feeling clean and refreshed 
• It is oil free so it will not clog pores

The Cons: 

• This scrub is very exfoliating
• I did NOT find it very gentle
•  I did not see a big decrease with blackheads as I did with the pimples

Overall:

I did love how this product allows me to #LiveRadiantly because of how it helped my pimples. I did not like how rough it was with my skin.

Sour Punch® Punchies ($0.89) 

The Good: 

• The Sour Punch® Straws and Punchies were really good. I enjoyed the sour and sweet flavors. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy them, but I would definitely eat them if they were around!

The Bad:

• Tanning lotion... haha where do I even begin? The first day I put it on, I instantly regretted it because my legs looked SO orange. Not my favorite. 
• The St. Ives® Blemish Control was TOO rough on my skin and I didn't notice any difference in my skin. 

The Lovely: 

• The Softlips® Cube is probably my favorite product in the box! The Fresh Mint flavor smells/tastes delicious. I definitely plan on buying it again!
• The L'Oreal Paris® Advanced Straight System is INCREDIBLE. That is all I have to say about that!

Rimmel London Loving

I received two amazing products in my Frosty VoxBox from Influenster recently and wanted to share them with you guys!

The first product I received was the Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black!

I was really excited to try this eyeliner. It went on SUPER smooth, and it stayed on all day without smudging! A bonus about this eyeliner is that it is waterproof! It was difficult to get off with my makeup wipes, but I received another Rimmel product that made taking off this eyeliner (and my other eye makeup) a breeze!

The second product was the Gentle Eye Makeup Remover! 

This eye makeup remover worked like a charm. I not only removed the waterproof eyeliner, it made taking my mascara off such an easy task! The best part is that it only took one wipe. 

I am SO impressed with these two Rimmel London products that I received and I can't wait to get more use out of them!

Celestial Seasonings Taste Test

I received a sample of the Candy Cane Lane Green Tea from the Celestial tea company. I received my sample in my Influenster Frosty VoxBox. Here is a look at a full box if you are interested in seeing!

The ingredients in this tasty tea:
- Peppermint, Decaffeinated Green Tea, Orange Peel, Natural Vanilla, Mint Flavoring, Cinnamon, Milk Thistle, Blackberry Leaves, Roasted Carob, Roasted Chicory, and Vanilla Bean.

These ingredients combined make for a great Christmas treat for your taste buds! The teas smells heavenly when it is brewed and was delicious!

If you are looking for a taste tea for Christmas time, try Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea!

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum

I recently received a sample of this serum in my Frosty VoxBox from Influenster. I wanted to share the good and the bad with you. 

The Good: 

- Can be used for any age 

- Unscented 

- Gives off a nice matte finish 

The Bad: 

- Pretty pricey

- Broke my skin out (I have very sensitive skin) 

- It is supposed to be used on a full face, but a full sized tube does not have very much product in it 

Overall, I am not very happy with this product as it broke me out, and it is way out of my price range. This product would work with someone who does not have sensitive skin!

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe #NYMBeachBabe

 Hello my friends. Long time no talk. Happy Summer to you. 

Today I bring to you a review of a product I have been LOVING this summer and that is the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray! This stuff is golden, trust me! I have the thickest hair that eats up product, and my hair absolutely loved this product. It is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I would recommend this product if you are looking for the perfect beach waves look that we all eye all over Pinterest. Not only am i loving this product, it would be safe to say that I am a fan of all of products from the Not Your Mother's line.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

Hello Beauties,

Today I wanted to talk to you about a product I received in my Influenster VoxBox. I received the Broadway Nails Press-on Manicure and to be honest I was very wary of this product. I'm not usually one who goes for press-on nails or fake nails at all. These nails went on SO easy, they looked and felt great, and they lasted me a little over a week!! They have an amazing color selection to choose from, so there is something for everyone.

UniVoxBox

It has been a while since my last post, but I thought receiving my UniVoxBox complimentary from Influenster would make for a great post! 

I received the UniVoxBox which is a mixture of lots of different products that are based around the college student. I think all of these products would be great for someone who is in school, so let me tell you about them!

Its beginning to look a lot like finals.

It is crazy to think that finals are this week and that the semester is almost over. It literally flew by. As for finals I have a few tips I wanted to share with y'all to make things a little less stressful!

1. Remember to take breaks!
    -One of the best ways to study is to study for about an hour and then take a 10 minute break.
2. Listen to music! (Unless you find that super distracting)
    -I find that listening to music can make studying so much more enjoyable.
3. Have a snack ready!
    -Before you sit down to crack the books have a snack and drink in hand.
4. Find what study technique works for you! Some of my favorites are:
    -Notecards (or Quizlet)
    -Study Guides
    -Study Groups
5. Finally, don't stress!
    -I know that finals are stressful and it is hard not to get overwhelmed, but it is important to keep your
     head up and a smile on your face.

I hope these 5 quick tips helped you. I want to leave y'all with a verse from Philippians 4:6 which is one that always come to mind before a big test or exam.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

NYC New York Color Big Bold Gloss

The Bigger the Lips the Bigger the Kiss: 

Recently I received the Varsity VoxBox from Influenster, and included in it was a NYC Big Bold Lip Gloss. This product is one of the better lip products I have tried recently! Not only was it moisturizing and plumping, it had a good smell, and did what it said it would do. I don't know about y'all, but that is my kind of product. I thought I would list some pros and cons to this product so it could help future buyers!

Pros:
-Not sticky
-Light weight
-Good coverage

Cons:
-The applicator is pretty big and makes it hard to apply cleanly.
-The texture of it is not my favorite.

Overall this product is pretty good in my opinion, it isn't however one I would rush out to buy over some other of my favorite lip products.
